ITU DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Established in 1977 as the Faculty of Management Engineering, the current Faculty of Management includes three departments: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, and Economics. The ITU Department of Business Administration currently offers the ITU–SUNY Business dual degree program, Business Administration programs in Turkish and English, as well as eight different master’s and doctoral programs.

SUNY NEW PALTZ

SUNY New Paltz is a campus of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, located in the town of New Paltz in the Hudson Valley, approximately 90 minutes by car from New York City. The SUNY system is the largest state university system in the world, consisting of 64 campuses. It offers nearly 5,000 academic programs with more than 400,000 enrolled students.

SUNY New Paltz is a competitive university with faculties in business, education, fine and performing arts, natural sciences, engineering, and liberal arts. The university has a total student population of approximately 7,700 undergraduate and graduate students. As part of its commitment to international education, it hosts around 500 international students from more than 50 countries each year.

This program is a joint undergraduate program between Istanbul Technical University and SUNY New Paltz. It has been admitting students since the 2003–2004 academic year, with its first graduates in 2006–2007. The normal duration of the program is four academic years, and the entire program is delivered in English.

Students who do not meet the language proficiency requirement are required to attend a one-year English Preparatory Program at ITU.

The program admits 35 students for the 2025–2026 academic year (including 1 fully funded scholarship student). It accepts students based on the Equal Weight score type. Students complete their ITU courses at the ITU Faculty of Management building located on the Maçka Campus.

Graduates who successfully complete the program receive both an ITU Business Administration degree and a SUNY New Paltz Business Administration degree.
